Enviroment
In addressing environment SWACEDA recognises that it is important to secure the women’s livelihoods and this depends on adjusting to climate change in the regions.
G.B.V
As these are pastoral communities a lot of emphasis is attached to social norms. It is in these communities’ social grace to subject women and girls to practices that amount to gender-based violence,
Womens Rights
Since SWACEDA is a women’s organisation it is imperative that it addresses women’s and girl’s rights in political, social, economic spheres.
Peace & Conflict
While overall security and peace in these regions are always shaky because of the usual border pragmatics, the situation is further exacerbated by constant conflict on grazing and water sources
